I am currently a Fine Artist. My central themes tend to be around gender and Identity. I tend to combine the theatrical within my work! I dabble in photography, drawing and video. I would like to do more installations. There is also a possibility of more performances...Watch this space!

Week Five Incorporating Video into my installation.
In the latter half of Week Five I added moving image into my Degree Show Work. Sound can really make a huge difference to an installation. With a full headset the film becomes merely background but with a loud confident sound the video is very much center of attention!

In my spare time I was editing my film for the installation. In week three I got really bogged down with the process and so I left the editing for a few days and came back to it with renewed vigor. Then in week four the editing process overtook anything else, so I don’t really have any imagery to show. My tutorial with a visiting tutor helped me rethink my video and so that enabled me to polish and finish my film on the Tuesday of Week Five. I won’t show any film previews as I don’t want to ruin the surprise!

Week Three- Photo Planning
During the third week my main focus was on how I would arrange my imagery. From my early plans this background wall is way simpler than what I was originally going to do which was a huge crime scene wall. But in the end I felt that in keeping it simple it would be stronger symbolically.
